Our client has been established for over half a century and have offices worldwide. They have over 2,000 talented engineers that work with them and help deliver some fantastic projects across the UK and are currently looking for a Dynamic and talented Associate Mechanical Engineer to come and join them in their Leeds office.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone that is currently in a Senior/Principal position but aspires to move in to an Associate level role. They are looking for an ambitious individual that is looking for their next step up in to an associate role, someone that is willing to grow with the company. Being fully conversant with Autocad, Cymap or Hevacomp as you will be expected to help with the designs. The successful candidate will help assist with the entirety of the mechanical workload in the Leeds office and will be the direct line to the Director. This position will provide an excellent career opportunity and you will benefit from a first-rate remuneration package.

You will be expected to work on a wide variety of different industries and will be able to liaise with clients and other professional within the business to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget to the client's standards. You will be expected to go out and win work for the business whilst still being technically brilliant when it comes to the detailed design of a variety of buildings throughout a range of different sectors.

Associate Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience within a Building Services environment
  • Degree or relevant equivalent in Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
  • Ability to mentor junior and intermediate engineers
  • Good experience within a variety of sectors
  • Able to create and deliver client presentations
  • Good knowledge of a variety of different design software
