Mechanical Inspector

A temporary post for Mechanical Inspector, working within a public sector organisation.

Your new company
This is a large, public sector organisation, looking after a variety of building including, offices, plant rooms, classrooms, laboratories and high rise residential. You will be working in an office environment with consistent visits to site to overlook the mechanical services design and installation.

Your new role
You will be working in a team environment, reporting directly to the Principal Mechanical Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for overlooking design and installation of mechanical services, to make sure that they are designed, commissioned and tested according to the Health and Safety standards and according to the designs and requirements of the end user client. As part of this role you will be delivering reports on the progress of work as well as investigation into mechanical accidents.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be HNC/HND qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services with reasonable experience working on site acting as Mechanical Inspector. You will have experience working within multi - disciplinary teams and have great communication skills. You will need to be proficient with Building Services CIBSE guides and Mechanical Engineering best practices.
