Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for an exciting opportunity to get involved with a growing building consultancy?
Our client is already established with offices across the UK but are currently looking to grow their Manchester branch. They do work within a variety of sectors but primarily focus on the large banks and commercial developments. They are looking for a talented and dynamic Senior Mechanical Engineer to come and join their Manchester office. This is a great opportunity for career growth as this office is still in its infancy with their currently only being engineers in there at the moment which means you would be able to play an integral part of their success. If you're looking for the chance to get in early and have more responsibility while climbing the ladder quickly this could be a great position for you.
The successful engineer will have a wealth of knowledge throughout a number of sectors and will be extremely technically capable when it comes to the detailed design of mechanical systems throughout a number of different building types. You will have to be able to work to tight deadlines and will ideally have experience in mentoring more junior and intermediate members of staff. You will have good client facing skills and will be able to work with a variety of professionals throughout the built environment having worked with architects and structural engineers closely on other projects.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in building services/ mechanical engineering
- At least 7 years' experience within a design role within a building services consultancy
- CEng or working towards chartership
- Ability to mage multiple projects at one time
- Good knowledge of a variety of design software
- Full UK driving license
