Intermediate Mechanical Design Engineer - £38 to £45K + Package

Established over 25 years ago this employee owned, Building Services Consultancy now offers offering Electrical, Mechanical, Public Health, Fire, BIM and Sustainable Design services to a broad range of private and public sector clients.

Reporting to a supportive, chartered Mechanical Associate you will be responsible for Designing mechanical (heating, cooling, ventilation) and public health (drainage, water) building systems on a range of residential, commercial, education and healthcare projects. This will include completing detailed calculations and using Hevacomp and using AutoCAD to produce schematics and system layouts.

You will enjoy working in a close knit, collaborative team environment and be given the opportunity of leading your own smaller (£5 - £10M construction value) projects from concept to handover to the client. You will also benefit from working closely with the Directors who all remain hands-one and still carry out design and surveys; and take a personal interest in developing all of their engineers to have robust technical skills and also a good commercial awareness of fees, invoicing and resource planning.

In addition to a generous basic salary of up to £45K, they also offer pension, 4 x life assurance, discretionary annual bonus and operate a 37.5 hour week.
