An opportunity has arisen to join a nationally operating, award winning Facilities Services Provider. Offering internal development and longstanding career prospects this is an opportunity to join a thriving PFI lead Hospital outfit to deliver fantastic supporting services and truly make a difference whilst overseeing the effective delivery of a wide variety of Hard services.
Your new role
You will be employed to work as part of a professional estates maintenance team utilising your drive and enthusiasm to manage a team of shift technicians and sub-contracted maintenance services within the Estates department to deliver pro-active and reactive maintenance services. This role covers shift work, inclusive of on call and will cover managing all delivery of hard services.
You will be involved working in line with company and national Health and Safety procedures, maintaining of estates records and plant history, deal with new situations as they arise and most importantly share your working knowledge as required,
What you'll need to succeed
Whilst all applications will be given due consideration the ideal candidate will have
Education / Qualifications / Training
- Recognised electrical or mechanical engineering apprenticeship.
- Appropriate BTEC, City and Guilds experience
- HNC or HND in a relevant discipline
Knowledge & Experience
- A minimum of 5-Years post-apprenticeship including supervisory experience
- Hospital experience
- Operational FM experience
Skills & Abilities
- Supervisory management
- Technical knowledge of building services and building construction
- Good verbal and written communication skills
