Senior Mechanical Design Engineer - £39 - £44 p/h

I'm currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a medium sized, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy based in London lead a £10M hotel project.

Reporting to a Director, you will take the lead role on the design, management and delivery of the refurbishment and extension of a 5 star hotel resort. The project consists of a listed hotel, hotel extension, a number of barn conversions, new build lodges, and will utilise an energy centre with CHP and district heating/cooling. Some of the project has been designed inhouse however with a number of new projects coming into the practice over the past few months, this specific Hotel project now needs a dedicated individual to complete the design and deliver it.

Requirements

  • Client facing Senior Mechanical Design Engineer.
  • Able to work unsupervised and manage own time.
  • Previous experience in hotel, leisure or mixed use projects.
  • Previous experience with energy centres, district heating/cooling and utilities network.
  • Able to work in their London studio, four to five days a week.
