Senior Electrical Engineer (Contract)

I am working with Building Services firm (Mechanical and Electrical) based West Sussex. They are seeking a Building Services Engineer with an electrical bias to support their team on a contract basis. This will be a short-term contract (3 months) working 3 days a week in the office with possible 2 days per week working from home.

You will be working in a team alongside other mechanical and electrical engineers, using software packages, such as Amtech and Relux/Dialux to undertake design calculations and AutoCAD to produce drawings.

You will be expected to represent the practice at meetings with clients and other professionals, therefore you will need to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to prioritise and manage client expectations, and a high level of commercial awareness.

In order to fulfil this role, you must have good working knowledge of various types of electrical installations, such as commercial and residential, an understanding of relevant British Standards and Building Regulations, and a keen interest in energy, buildings and creating suitable working and living environments.
