Are you an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer looking to join a busy building services design team based in London?
Our client boasts a strong team spread across the UK and are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate the relevant skills and experience within a building services consultancy. Dedicated to the progression of their employees this company would be the ideal opportunity for an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer with 3+ years' experience who is on the look out for a role within an organisation which prides itself on the growth of its engineers.
Already working at a similar level, the perfect candidate will be degree/HND qualified and have attained or be working towards their relevant grade of professional membership (IEng/CEng).
The successful Intermediate Mechanical Engineer will:
-Provide input on design strategy and conceptual design relative to mechanical installations
-Undertake design calculations relevant to the design of mechanical installations within major building projects
-Design mechanical installations including the production of design drawings, diagrams and schematics along with project specifications and schedules
-Design mechanical installations to meet all existing, relevant British Standards, Building Regulations and other relevant standards
-Design mechanical installations to meet requirements for energy efficiency and low carbon requirements
-Work as part of a team to meet project brief and programme requirements
-Lead an M&E Team in the coordination and delivery of individual projects, including attendance at meetings, internal programming, project reviews etc.
-Manage client and design team relationships. Understand client needs and interpret and confirm the project brief
-Aid and support to other members of the engineering team within the office
-Understand electrical engineering systems and the ability to report of both disciplines during meetings.
