Regional Design Manager – South East

I met with a leading Main Contractor today who are looking to grow their business by bringing on board a Regional Design Manager to be based in the South East where this person will be overseeing all the Design and Engineering output within the Region. They have already taken on the equivalent person to be based in the South West which shows their intent for growth and to continue building their reputation within the industry.

They are renowned for delivering high – quality MEP installations and designs throughout the UK mainly within the commercial, healthcare, education, industrial and leisure sectors.

My client is looking for someone who is driven and passionate about engineering and for this person being willing to steer the role in the direction they want to help drive things forward even more on the design side. It has all the makings to be a career defining job. Although based out of their Northampton office, you wont find yourself there all the time as you will be visiting projects and other offices within London, Cambridge and Portsmouth.

As well as what has already been mentioned above you, as the Regional Design Manager will take full management of the design team in the South East, be in charge of selecting and managing external consultants, managing the implementation of BIM within projects, liaise with internal and external contacts and provide support and technical advice to members of staff.

In return for this exceptionally exciting opportunity comes a brilliant base salary with a leading package including car and travel allowance, healthcare, pension, holiday and profit related bonus.
