BPI (M&E) Recruitment have been retained by one of the South West's leading Building Services Consultants to recruit, on their behalf, an ambitious and driven Building services Engineer at Associate level.

Candidates must be Degree qualified and Chartered. If you are soon to be Chartered or are looking for sponsorship to achieve it and have the relevant Degree, please do not hesitate to apply.

Having said the above, the company concerned are equally as keen to speak to Senior/Principal Engineers, looking for the next step up as they are to hear from established Associates.

You will need to know the Bristol scene, Building Services wise and be aware of all current and potential up and coming projects.

Ideally, you will have a Mechanical Building Services bias, however, if you are Electrical but have a reasonable understanding of the Mechanical side, please do apply.

In this role you will be responsible for a design team as well as having management responsibility for Technicians and CAD Operators. This will include: recruiting, training, mentoring and driving the team.

Some of the key accountabilities are given below: -

You must be able to present project design proposals to the client following on from an external brief.

Issuing, alongside the client, contract documentation to tender etc.

Be the lead internal consultant on the project

Undertake all Project Management responsibilities

Skills, Qualifications and experience: -

CEng with relevant experience or HNC/D with extensive relevant experience.

You must be fully up to speed and be a leader in the following software; Cymap, TAS, BIM, Revit & AutoCAD

A knowledge of ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
