Intermediate Public Health Design Engineer

I'm looking for an Intermediate Public Health (Building Services) Design Engineer to join one on the UK's most admired and well-respected Building Services consultancies. Offering MEP, BIM, Building Physics, Lighting, Fire and Sustainability they are widely regarded as a market leader and have a fantastic reputation for attracting, developing their staff and designing net zero carbon buildings.

Based in their London office, you will be responsible for designig innovative Public Health services on a variety of education, healthcare, hotel, commercial, retail, residential and leisure projects. You will benefit greatly from working in a very stable and exprienced team of PH Engineers and also from thier CIBSE approved training and development program.

Duties

*Creating sustainable, energy efficient and practical PH Design solutions.
*Prepare detailed design drawings in AutoCAD or Revit MEP.
*Attend meetings with clients and use sketches to illustrate concept designs.
*Carry out calculations by hand and also using software.
*Assist with equipment selection, specifications and reports.
*Ensuring all projects meet or exceed LEED, BREEAM or Well standards.
*Carrying out site surveys on PH installations and comment on the quality and progress.
*Continuing to stay abreast of new technologies, materials and construction methods.

Essential selection criteria

- Degree or HND qualified.
- Able to use Revit MEP and Navisworks.
- Previous experience working on projects from feasibility to construction.
- Previous experience writing technical specifications and schedules.
- Previous experience coordinating MEP services.
- Previous experience workinbg on UK and international projects.
