Senior Lighting Designer/Experienced Lighting Designer
Manchester
Our Manchester based client is looking to recruit a Senior Lighting Designer or Experience Lighting Designer to join their busy and rapidly expanding team. Join a team working to deliver architectural lighting design on a national scale, working on a range of architectural projects across several sectors including commercial, retail and public realm.
Our client boasts a fantastic location in Manchester with great public transport links. Although the role is based in Manchester, the team supports nationwide projects, so some travel may be required.
The role of Senior Lighting Designer or Experienced Lighting Designer involves the management of design projects from early conception through to completion, delivering high quality, detail-oriented work.
The successful Senior Lighting Designer or Experienced Lighting Designer will assist the team and wider business with lighting design concepts as well as presenting concepts to clients, architects and other members of the team. You will be involved in the from the start in the day-to-day operations of lighting projects, overseeing and guiding junior members of the team.
Requirements for the role of Senior Lighting Designer or Experienced Lighting Designer:
- Degree qualified in a Design-related subject or an Electrical Engineering course/Relevant HND
- Come from Consultancy background
- Experience in using Dialux/Dialux Evo
- Experience in using AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Competent using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience with Photoshop would be desirable
