Are you currently looking for a new position as a Senior Electrical Engineer to work with a well-known building services consultancy in Manchester?
The client that we are currently working with have been established for over 40 years and are well known within the industry for creating some of the best engineers. They are over 300 strong and have created a working environment that their employee love. They have an incredibly talented team of engineers in their Manchester office and are looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a team and play an active part in the growth and development of an office.
The successful engineer will be highly technically capable when it comes to the detailed design of electrical systems throughout a number of different building types. With a diverse project portfolio, you will be comfortable working on projects from a variety of different sectors and will be well versed in using software packages specific to the industry. You will have seen projects from concept to completion and will have no problem attending client meetings and managing client expectations. You will have experience leading teams and projects and will be comfortable mentoring junior and more intermediate members of staff.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC qualified in building services or electrical engineering
- 10+ years in a design role within a consultancy
- Chartered or working towards
- Up to date knowledge of building regulations and legislation
- Ability to work on multiple teams
- Full UK driving license
- A good understanding of Construction Contracts, financial and resource management, procurement and client interface
- Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Amtech and Relux/Dialux Design software
