We are currently working with the UK's leading independent construction and engineering company who have an enviable reputation for delivering outstanding projects throughout the built environment.
Due to their continued success, they now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior M&E Planner to join them on a permanent basis.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior M&E Planner to be based at and deliver a prestigious project in Salisbury, South West England.
This is a permanent key position within the site based team, responsibilities include:
To plan the allocated projects up to the standard required from both internal and client requirements.
Plans will be implemented with the best-practice approach utilising Critical Path Analysis, Resource Planning, Cost Management and Progress/Productivity Monitoring and Control.

EXPERIENCE ESSENTIAL
- Considerable experience in a Planning role with substantial commercial experience
- Substantial M&E site experience
- Experienced working in a Commercial / Estimating / Procurement / Design role
EXPERIENCE DESIRABLE
- Experience working within Rail / Nuclear / Power / Water sectors
- Experience of Project Controls
QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS - ESSENTIAL
- ONC/HNC Building Services/Engineering/Technical or equivalent C&G
- Project Management related qualification (APM - 5 day/OGC/PMI) or Project Management modules completed as part of degree level studies.
- ILM Level 2 Qualification
QUALIFICATIONS & PROFESSIONAL MEMBERSHIPS - DESIRABLE
- Level 5 Post Graduate Diploma (Leadership / Management)
TRAINING
- Pre-construction Awareness
- Effective Project Planning
- Commercial Awareness
- ILM Level 2 Supervisor's Course
- APM Project Management Course (5 Day)
- Primavera P6 / Asta PowerProject / Microsoft Project software
- Microsoft Excel (advanced) software
- Earned Value Management
- Effective Time Management Level 5 / 7 Diploma (Leadership / Management)
