Job Details

Legionella Programme Manager require on an ongoing basis by a large public sector body based in Belfast.

Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large public body based in Belfast, to recruit a Legionella Programme Manager to join their Estates team on an ongoing contract basis.

Your new role
You will work within a team that has responsibility for reviewing the organisations Legionella Risk Assessments and quarterly monitoring programmes in accordance with the relevant processes and procedures to identify the required remediation works and their delivery, to ensure the organisation is fully compliant with its statutory and regulatory undertakings with regard to L8 Legislation.

You will be tasked with ensuring that a programme of remedial works is identified, prioritised and costed for all the Legionella Risk Assessments already completed. This work will also extend to remedial actions arising from the Legionella Risk Assessments yet to be completed.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you will ideally possess:
A degree or an equivalent 3rd level qualification in an Environmental Management related discipline;
City and Guilds Risk Assessment Qualification P901 Management of Building Hot and Cold Water Systems.
Membership of a relevant professional body.

What you'll get in return
This position offers the opportunity to work with a large public-sector body on an ongoing contract basis. The initial duration is 6 months, but it is anticipated that this will be extended. A competitive rate of pay, £34,000 - £37,000 pro rata, is available which will be paid to you via Hays on a weekly basis. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
