Intermediate Mechanical Project Manager

Fantastic opportunity for an AC engineer or CAD technician that is looking to get into project management.

Your new company
Due to a member of staff retiring, my client is looking to add an intermediate Mechanical Project manager to their team. This company regularly works on projects with a Mechanical value of up to £2 million; and AC value of up to £500,000. This company have plans to double or triple their annual turnover by the end of next year. They specialise in air conditioning systems.

Your new role
This position is perfect for an AC engineer or CAD technician who is looking to get into project management. You will be working alongside the other project managers, to develop you're own project management skills , on design and install projects within the commercial, residential and industrial sectors. You will be required to build lasting relationships with existing and new clients. You will be required to work closely with sub-contractors and other parties involved throughout the full life cycle of project.

What you'll need to succeed
HNC/ONC in Mechanical engineering is ideal.
Experience with AutoCAD would be beneficial but not essential, due to majority of drawings being outsourced.
Experience working on projects with a mechanical value of up to £2 million.
Having air conditioning experience is essential.
