Principal Design Manager – MEP Background - £85 – 90k + Car + Package – Basingstoke
I am currently working in partnership with a leading Main Contractor who are looking to appoint a Principal Design Manager to their Basingstoke office to manage and lead a variety of projects ranging from £1m to £25m
The company are one of the largest privately-owned construction companies within the UK with a full order book for the next 2 years and even more work in the pipeline. They work closely with specialist sub-contractors to produce high quality projects with great value to the client.
As the Principal Design Manager you will be involved in managing the contractors proposals, producing project specific scope of works, reviewing M&E design on all projects you are managing, producing design programmes with relevant teams and improving the technical quality output of internal and external teams.
My client is looking for this person to have experience managing and leading projects as well as project teams, have good a good technical knowledge of your primary discipline and others, an understanding of life cycle cost and value creation.
