Your new company
This high-performing property development consultancy provides complete management services for high quality commercial sector projects. With an extensive team of respected project managers and development consultants, as well as sustainability and MEP teams, they operate out of several UK offices. Now seeking to expand their building services presence, and capitalise on a wide client-base built by their PM teams, they are seeking a new senior electrical engineer with excellent commercial and people skills.

Your new role
You will join a busy central London office, staffed with a large number of project managers and other development consultants. You will work in the smaller but growing MEP team, heavily supported by larger national MEP teams, and take a critical role in driving MEP service lines in London. With a substantial client base already using the business, your role will be to work closely with PMs and other development consultants to introduce the expanding MEP capability. You will work on a wide range of MEP projects, from surveys and technical reporting, to full scheme design, supported as needed by resource across the country. You will have the assistance of a junior engineer in London, and close contact with leadership in other offices.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an expert electrical engineer, with good experience of working with MEP projects in commercial buildings. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a keen interest in internal business development. You will be proactive and forward, happy to introduce yourself and the MEP capability to the PMs in the business, and work to offer MEP services on new projects. You will be degree qualified, and have experience from a similar consultancy environment.
