Job Details
An excellent opportunity for an ambitious Intermediate Mechanical Engineer looking to work within a consultancy providing the platform to progress into a senior position and beyond.
The right candidate will be working on a range of projects across the UK and will be keen to take a lead, managing a number of projects. You will be responsible for the design of mechanical services systems, working independently, using design software to prepare calculations and designs as well as preparing specifications and equipment schedules.
The successful Intermediate Mechanical Engineer will be able to show a good understanding of building services design and development as well as knowledge of the design of public health and drainage systems. Experience of using Revit MEP/BIM software would be advantageous and the successful candidate will be keen to progress their career towards chartered status.
Requirements for the role of Intermediate Mechanical Engineer:
- A degree in either Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (MSc would be desirable)
- Completed 4-8 years as a graduate electrical engineer with either a building services consultancy or design contractor
- Strong technical knowledge
- Experience with design software packages (such as Cymap and TAS)
