St Helens Council is seeking to appoint a Graduate or qualified Building Services Engineer to a career graded position within its in house Building Services team.
The team is responsible for the day to day maintenance and delivery of projects within its public building and school estate. You will be required to assist the Building Services Engineering Manager in delivering an effective building services engineering service, including statutory compliance, project management and undertaking design functions for and behalf of the Council.
The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and have experience in using associated 'Hevacomp' and other design software and experience of using 'Autocad' software. You should hold a Degree Qualification in Building Services Engineering or equivalent at Graduate Level or HNC/HND/Degree qualifications in Building Services Engineering or equivalent at Engineer Level.
This is a career graded post. Progression through the career grades will be via demonstration of suitable academic attainment and regular 'in work' appraisals, which must demonstrate work based progression in attaining developmental targets.
