Are you a Senior Mechanical Engineer looking for your next opportunity with a known multidisciplinary consultancy?
Our client has been established for 35 years and are made up of a wide variety of professionals from Structural engineers to building services engineers. They have a strong foothold in the market and at the moment there is currently about 25 people in the Peterborough office and they are looking to grow this to 32 with some more M&E engineers over the next due to a large project win. They work on a variety of different projects with the majority of their work being done in Commercial properties and the education sector.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Senior Mechanical Engineer to come and join their team. This Engineer will have excellent knowledge of building services throughout a number of different building types and will be comfortable switching between a variety of projects to meet deadlines. You will be able to push projects out of the door and lead a team of engineers to help complete projects. You will have seen a project from concept to completion and will be comfortable mentoring more junior engineers through the different design processes. You will have good client facing manners and be happy attending design/client meetings to ensure specifications are met. You will have up to date knowledge of building regulations and will have good working knowledge of a variety of design software i.e. Hevacomp, IES, Revit MEP (Desirable).
Senior Mechanical Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC in building services/ mechanical engineering
- At least 10 years' experience within a design role within a building services consultancy/contractor
- CEng or working towards chartership
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Good knowledge of a variety of design software
- Full UK driving license
