A large public sector organisation have a temporary requirement for a time served mechanical supervisor.
Your new company
Hays have a requirement for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a large public sector organisation based in Greater Belfast. This organisation have a large site spanning several acres with a range of buildings varying in ages requiring a wide variety of engineering maintenance services.
Your new role
You will be required to carry out a wide range of planned and unplanned tasks, ensuring the safe, effective and economic installation and maintenance of the organisation's engineering systems and plant assets. The role required a 'Competent Person' in relation to a range of specialist engineering systems. The successful person must be prepared to participate in hands on work and have the ability to use a range of computer based systems and developing technologies.
What you'll need to succeed
It is essential that you have completed a Mechanical Apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years experience in a mechanical maintenance or installation position. In addition you will be required to hold Access NI clearance.
What you'll get in return
This position is an immediate requirement therefore you must be available to start at short notice. The duration of this position is anticipated to run for a minimum of 3 months with review and potential extension. Payments will be made weekly via BACS. 37.5 hours per week. £11.29 per hour. Paid holidays.
