Are you looking for an exciting role with a rapidly growing consultancy as a Senior Electrical Engineer
The client that we are currently working with have been established for over 40 years and work on some really great projects from their office in Cardiff. They're projects range from varying residential schemes from exclusive high-end apartments and dwellings in London to high rise multi-residential and student accommodation blocks as well as a lot of mixed-use projects. They are about 15 strong at the moment and they are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Electrical Engineer to come and join their growing team. They are currently expanding and have a full order book of large long-term projects for the next 2-3 years already and will be looking to strengthen the rest of their team at every opportunity.
The successful Senior Electrical Engineer will be extremely technically capable and will have good all-round sector experience having worked on a variety of projects being able to design Electrical systems throughout a number of different building types. You will have a strong appreciation for other disciplines such as structures and architecture and will ideally have worked closely with professionals from this field on previous projects. You will have mentored more junior and intermediate members of staff in other roles and be able to help them reach their full potential within the business. You will have strong client facing skills and be able to effectively be able to communicate and manage the expectations of stakeholders.
Senior Electrical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree or HNC qualified in building services or electrical engineering
- 10+ years in a design role within a consultancy
- CEng or working towards
- Up to date knowledge of building regulations and legislation
- Ability to work on multiple teams
- Full UK driving license
- A good understanding of Construction Contracts, financial and resource management, procurement and client interface
- Experience in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, Amtech and Relux/Dialux Design software
