Are you looking for a position as a BIM Coordinator that has the potential for a bit more progression?
The client that we are currently working with have been established for over 40 years and work on some really great projects from their office in Cardiff. They're projects range from varying residential schemes from exclusive high-end apartments and dwellings in London to high rise multi-residential and student accommodation blocks as well as a lot of mixed-use projects. They are about 15 strong at the moment and they are looking for an enthusiastic BIM Coordinator that is interested in progressing into a BIM Manager. They have a few engineers that have trained in Revit and can use it for basics but haven't had the time to master it, we would like the Revit person to work with them and help increase their ability. They are currently expanding and have a full order book of large long-term projects for the next 2-3 years already and will be looking to strengthen the rest of their team at every opportunity. The BIM Coordinator will be able to support the design engineers, they would be the primary Revit person responsible for setting up the systems, projects and liaising with Architect and Structural teams
The successful candidate will be fully conversant with Revit MEP and have demonstrable project experience within the building services sector. You will be able to walk straight into the team and be a contributing member. You will have a good understanding of BIM and other industry specific software as well as being able to present and liaise with clients when needed. You will have an exemplary attitude and take pride in your work. This position would be perfect for someone who is looking for career development and wants to work in a company that supports them every step of the way.
BIM Coordinator Requirements:
- At least 3 years' experience using Revit MEP within a Building Services environment
- Experienced in coordinating MEP services.
- 2D AutoCAD experience essential
- Engineering background an advantage but not essential.
- Masters in BIM management desirable
