A new Fire & Security specialist are seeking a Fire Alarm engineer, offering a route to management.

Your new company
A Co. Down based Fire and Security provider are currently recruiting through Hays Belfast for a Fire Alarm Engineer. This is an exciting new business that has quickly built up an excellent network of local property, industrial & commercial clients across Northern Ireland. Your new role
My client is currently recruiting for a Fire Alarm Engineer to carry out planned preventative tests and inspections on alarm systems and equipment ensuring they comply of regulations and working to specification across a number of high profiles sites. Junior to Senior Engineers will be considered. With a focus on maintenance, your new role will be to carry out works in Factories, Schools, Commercial buildings, national Retail Clients and a number of private residential properties. This is a multi-discipline role and will enquire you to work on a range of panels and systems within the Fire and Security trade.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be NVQ Level 3 qualified in Electrical and Electronic equipment and have at least 2 years industry experience in electronic fire, security or CCTV systems installation or maintenance. Demonstrate a general knowledge of all Fire and Security Systems. Demonstrate strong communication skills and be a team player. Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same. You will be client facing and have excellent communication skills as well as a clean drivers licence.

Your working day will start at 8.30am until 5pm Monday to Thursday and finish at 4pm on Friday. 28 days annual leave. Call out and Overtime will be available. You will be provided with a company vehicle, fuel card staff uniform, tablet pda device and tools.
