This consultancy is a leading provider of building services engineering design and one that has continuously throughout its life span delivered projects of the highest quality which has resulted in a large amount of repeat business. As the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer you will be exposed to a number of different sectors including:

You are being exposed to such a wide range of projects, you won’t have to worry about feeling like you are stuck in Groundhog Day, and instead you will be walking into the office with a new and fresh challenge.
It is important to my client that you have the experience of managing a team and have the confidence to do so. As stated in the first paragraph this is a company that prides itself in investing in its staff. There is a clear progression within this consultancy, if you put in the work and hit your targets there is no reason why you can’t progress to an Associate in the coming months.
For the Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role, they will want you to have knowledge in thermal modelling, CAD and Revit. It is important to have these skills, not only to ensure detailed design but for you to pass this knowledge onto the younger engineers. A key part of this job is to mentor the younger engineers and show them what it takes to reach your level.
In terms of location you are surrounded by a number of great bars, restaurants and a Box Park! Located near the station which is walking distance so you don’t have to worry about jumping on the bus. If you prefer driving you will be allocated a free parking space instead of desperately searching for a parking space in Croydon!
