A large international multi disciplined engineering consultancy are looking for an Associate Electrical Engineer to lead projects and a small sub team of MEP Design engineers, based in Central London. This offices MEP and Sustainability team of 50 strong who have a fantastic reputation internationally for delivering projects within the Aviation, Commercial Offices (new Build and CATA, CATB), high end residential, and Manufacturing sectors

 

Known for being one of the most creative and pioneering consultancies in the UK this company have a fantastic reputation for employing fantastic, pioneering building services engineers who have a passion for sustainability and the use of BIM. Within this role you will hold project manager and sub team manager duties of a team of up to 6 engineers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a managerial role on early stage design work on a number of well publicised schemes in the UK and Abroad at the moment while you will be able to see from conception to completion.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience will have the below experience:

  • A member of a Professional Institute such as CIBSE or IET
  • Registered as a low carbon consultant would be advantageous but really not essential
  • Contributing to development of working practices to improve team efficiency particularly with reference to the use of IT
  • To support and promote use of BIM on relevant projects and undertake the necessary CPD to ensure clear understanding of process
  • A comprehensive, current knowledge base of all Electrical Building and infrastructure services.
  • Proven track record of exceptional project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Fully familiar with codes of practice, standards and relevant sections of statutory documentation
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and co-ordinate with clients, Architects and all other stakeholders and members of the Design Team.
