Mechanical Estimator - Top Tier Contractor

Your new company
One of Northern Ireland's leading M&E Building Services contractors who have a rich history of delivering a wide range of projects throughout Northern Ireland and the mainland UK. Due to successfully being awarded a number of new projects over recent months this company are expanding their estimating team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Estimating Manager, you will assist and produce priced tenders for multi million pound projects across a variety of sectors. Quantify/measure/price and labour the extent of the works involved from drawings or BoQ and input onto estimation system. Maintain good relationships with prospective clients to promote further tender contracts.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be from a mechanical building services discipline, either time served in Plumbing/ Pipefitting or have an HNC+ qualification in Building Services or Mechanical engineering. You will experience in a similar building services estimating role with solid understanding of HVAC installations and systems. You will be commercially astute, a strong negotiator and have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
