Trainee Mechanical Design Estimator

A unique opportunity for a junior/intermediate mechanical design estimator, to be based in south Birmingham

Your new company
My client is an M&E design and build contractor based in south Birmingham, they work on projects within the commercial, retail and pharmaceutical sectors. They offer their clients the full package, providing assistance throughout the full life cycle of the project. My client is particular keen on helping to grow and develop their employees both professionally and personally.

Your new role
Projects you would be working on are within the pharmaceutical, commercial, and industrial sectors; and have a typical value of up to £5 million. You will be producing design and estimates to go towards tenders. All designs will be completed on AutoCAD. The projects you will be working on will be a mixture of new builds and refurbishments.You will have the opportunity to work with the clients directly, and be involved with weekly/monthly progress meetings with the client.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have a HNC in mechanical services or building services or working towards completion
Ideally you will have experience working with design estimates; and producing tenders
Having experience with AutoCAD is highly desirable
