Electrical Design / Estimating Engineer (Building Services)
Your new company
An independently construction company based in Leicester are looking for an Electrical Design / Estimating Engineer to join their Electrical team. They work on a range of commercial and industrial projects for a wide range of clients.
Your new role
You will be responsible for the design / estimating of electrical services (small power, CCTV, lighting, fire/security, data cabling, BMS systems etc.) for a wide range of building types with values ranging from £50k to £10million. You will work closely with the project managers, have the opportunity to get out of the office and meet with clients, negotiate best prices, attend site visits and work on some prestigious construction projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- BEng / HND / HNC in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
- At least 3-4 years' experience in a building services contractor
- Experience in AutoCAD, Amtech
- Design / Estimating for a wide range of Electrical projects
- Experience estimating multimillion£ projects
