A Building Services Engineering company in Preston looking for a Trainee Mechanical Estimator.
Your new company
This is a family owned business employing over 200 people and with a turnover of just under£30 million. They are growing steadily, delivering projects across, education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and military. They are now looking for a trainee mechanical estimator to join and progress with the company.
Your new role
You will be working as part of a team where you will receive full training and coaching. Throughout the day your responsibilities will include assessing and preparing tender documentation, advising on potential risks and opportunities, liaising with sub-contractors, suppliers and clients and estimating the cost of delivering the projects.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a HND/HNC in building services or equivalent with some experience either working on site as mechanical installer or in a trainee position as an estimator. On daily basis you will be working in a team environment, therefore you will be a team player with great communication skills. You will be an ambitious individual with a hunger to do well and progress your career.
