Working on a diverse range of project types, including major multi-billion-pound rail and aviation projects, complex high-security defence projects, cutting edge commercial buildings, and everything in between. They work out of a wide network of UK and global offices, including their brand new and well appointed central London base. With a London team of over 100 MEP design engineers, as well as hundreds more in other disciplines, you will join a busy and stimulating environment. Due to expansion into new markets they are seeking a leading engineer with strong commercial sector project experience.

Your new role
You will take a pivotal role within the London MEP design business by assisting to expand into the commercial sector. Your new business is a market leader within many sectors, and the commercial market has been identified as a growth area for the future. You will involved in mapping the market, identifying target clients, relationship development, bidding, and management of design projects. An existing team has already begun this process, and due to strong initial results they have room for an additional leader. You will also assist in growing a team of junior and senior engineers, and take responsibility to train and develop them.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have an excellent history of working on commercial sector projects, including large sized and high-value schemes in the UK and London. For an associate title, you will have some experience of managing and developing client relationships. For a director title you will have strong and demonstrable experience of work winning. You will have a network of useful connections across the commercial sector, such as property developers, property management firms, and end clients. You will have strong technical MEP design skills, and able to deliver large scale design projects. You will have excellent client-facing behaviours, and able to represent a market leading brand.
