Salary – Up to £40K + Flexible working
A medium sized consultancy is looking for a career driven Mechanical Design Engineer to have the opportunity to lead a variety of different projects. The sectors my client specialises in include commercial, residential, education, healthcare and historic buildings. For a young engineer to be exposed to a variety and learn skills in these sectors can be a rare opportunity at this level.
You, the Mechanical Design Engineer, won’t be sitting in the corner day in day out you will also be going out on site with an experienced Senior Mechanical. You will also be sitting in on client meetings, taking clients through the design process. You are being given a fantastic amount of responsibility for this level. This is to show you what it takes to be Senior Engineer, as this is what this role leads. With an approved training and development, progression with be in your own hands.
This is a consultancy that has been established since the early 80s and now has five offices in the UK, with one recently opening early this year. You will be joining a consultancy that is on the up and one which you will have a strong vocal voice. The Director will commonly run meetings in which they will talk you through what is happening at the business and address any concerns you may have.
