Your new company
This first-tier global firm is one of the world's leading multidisciplinary built environment consultancies. Working on a diverse range of project types, including major multi-billion-pound rail and aviation projects, complex high-security defence projects, cutting edge commercial buildings, and everything in between. They work out of a wide network of UK and global offices, including their brand new and well appointed central London base. With a London team of over 100 MEP engineers, as well as hundreds more in other disciplines, you will join a busy and stimulating environment. Due to ongoing expansion of various teams in London they are seeking a technically capable and ambitious mechanical design engineer.

Your new role
You will join a market leading team of building services designers working out of a modern central London office. You will design and specify the mechanical systems for a wide range of building types from airports, offices, defence, rail, and more. You will take a lead on smaller projects, attending and leading design meetings, monitoring works on site, advising your clients, and and work alongside senior and associates on larger projects. You will have access to a global design resource across the group, taking the role of a design manager when needed.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a technically capable and expert mechanical design engineer, with experience working in a consultancy setting on large and medium sized projects. You will be experienced in an array of mechanical systems and able to solve engineering challenges. You will have excellent attention to detail and used to working to exacting standards for demanding clients. You will have excellent communication and time-management skills. You will have a relevant engineering qualification and preferably Chartered, or working towards Chartership.
