Principal Mechanical Design Engineer – Building Services
Surrey – 20 Minutes from Whyteleafe
£50K - £60K (dependent on experience)
An award winning Building Services Consultancy is looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer who is able to design, manage and supervise projects in the Commercial and Residential sectors.
As the Principal Mechanical, you will be leading and carrying out projects from design to completion. You will also be involved with site supervision and working closely with the client. To cover all aspects of this process will mean that you will be highlighting to the Director that you are more than capable to complete this role to a high standard. This is a consultancy that has no glass ceiling when it comes to progression, which means the role of an Associate is literally in your own hands.
You will also be involved with managing the control project process, design variations and project financial projects. It is therefore important that you have some experience to when it comes to running projects from the design to the financial aspects.
Working alongside some of the biggest clients in the industry, it is important that you maintain these client relationships. You will be dealing with them on a regular basis, so your Director will let you be the lead for specifics clients, where you can take them on social events and walk them through the design process. On top of maintaining clients, you will also be given the chance of perusing new business opportunities. This is a consultancy where you are not on a leash, you will be very much independent in deciding what you think could be a good opportunity for this consultancy.
Requirements:
• UK Building Services Experience.
• 8 – 10 Years’ experience
• Chartered or working towards.
• Experience working with clients.
