You'll be working for a D&B contractor who are looking for a HVAC design engineer with experience in either a contractor or consultancy environment. The company offer a family run feel to their business and a lot of their work is in care homes, commercial & residential. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to progress their career with one of the most respected companies in the industry.

Your new role

The role involves working as part of our design team, typically to take a 'tender stage' M&E scheme through the design and approval process to construction issue status for their site team to then install from. You'll be sitting within the design team, however, your role isn't going to be just working within the design team you'll be able to contribute to a wide range of different procedures such as estimating. You'll be doing the full design specifications for HVAC systems including pipework and ductwork sizing.


What you'll need to succeed

You'll be able to do full design specifications for HVAC systems including plant, pipework and duct work sizing. You should be conversant with industry software such as: AutoCAD, IES, Microsoft Office & ideally have a working knowledge of Revit.
