Associate Electrical Design Engineer

The Building Design team work on projects across multiple markets including, Energy, Education, Transportation and Aviation.

Your new role
As a proven Electrical Design Engineer you will be responsible for the specification and design of fixed and temporary low voltage electrical systems. Carrying out electrical power and lighting design calculations on fixed and temporary installations.

Most excitingly you will be given the opportunity to work in partnership with the global design centre to add value to global building services projects where appropriate. As with any design role, you will be able to manage your own workload, conduct site surveys and inspections, compiling them into written reports as well as preparing drawings for drafting by the CAD team.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new role, you will need ambition and drive to motivate your own performance as well as previous experience working in design consultancy or a contractor environment. You will also be degree qualified or equivalent preferably in Building Services Engineers or a related subject. You will also be a chartered engineer with CIBSE/IET. Good level of computer literacy in systems such as Amtech, NES, Dialux.
