Job Details
Our client is a world famous and prestigious multidisciplinary consultancy and they're currently on the lookout for a talented and ambitious Senior Electrical Engineer to come and join their building services team in their busy London office on a contract basis.
Our client has been operating internationally for a number of years and are fully established within the market. They're currently looking a talented Senior Electrical Engineer to come and join them in London office to work on an ongoing contract basis. They have recently won multiple projects and re in need of extra resource quickly. The ideal candidate will be able to hit the ground running and work on major schemes and will have experience of this.
Senior Electrical Engineer responsibilities include:
- Managing projects to the standards of the client and in the deliverance of budgetary and time restraints.
- Liaising with Clientele and competent at interfacing with Project Teams and Contractors.
- Specification and design of fixed and temporary low voltage electrical installations.
* Carrying out electrical power and lighting design calculations on fixed and temporary installations
* Preparing technical specifications
* Preparing drawings for drafting by the CAD team
* Site surveys, inspections and monitor site works
* Report writing
* Maintaining records and archives to company standards
* Manage own workload - Taking charge of project deliverables, making decisions and acting on own initiative and operate in a pro-active way.
- Managing projects and coordinating with junior engineers and remote design teams.
- Good communicator with strong report and specification writing skills.
Senior Electrical Engineer Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 10 years in Electrical design for Building Services
- Ability to run multiple projects at one time
- Good working knowledge of Amtech, Dialux and AutoCAD
- Proven track record in delivery projects on time and within budget
- CEng or working towards
- Ability to obtain UK Security Clearance preferable.
