Are you bored in your current consultancy as an Associate Electrical Engineer? Boring projects, boring colleagues, boring company in general? Do you want to work with one of the worlds largest and most prestigious consultancies?

Our client is Reading based but has sites all across the globe they are thousands strong in their M&E department and work on some of the worlds most well publicised projects. As an engineer here you will get to work in some of the most niche sectors on some extremely challenging projects that will test your capabilities as an Associate Electrical Engineer. although based in the reading office you will be part of the national delivery team which means you will work on the top tier of projects for our clients which could be UK based or international. There is a big focus on developing their staff to their full potential, with development plans geared to individual needs and abilities. This role will allow development of existing technical skills as well as providing potential to expand digital skills and project management.

As the Associate Electrical engineer, you will have to be extremely technically capable when it comes to the detailed design of electrical systems throughout a number of different sectors. Being easily able to switch between multiple projects to meet the needs of clients. You will have experience of building your own teams of engineers and will have demonstrable experience of increasing revenue within your current position. You will be able to show that you have manged resources and financial output in your current position and will be able to hit the ground running in this position. You need to be highly ambitious with a real passion for engineering.

Associate Electrical Engineer:

  • Degree in either Electrical Engineering or building services engineering
  • Held a similar position in previous roles
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in the Building Services industry
  • You will ideally be chartered and hold other professional industry qualifications
  • Up to date knowledge of building regulations/ legislation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Brilliant client management skills
  • Strong leadership characteristics
  • Good working knowledge of a variety of design software
  • Full UK driving license
