Associate or AD Mechanical Design Engineer job, £58-85k, first tier global consultancy, major projects

Your new company
This major global built environment consultancy is seeking an expert and capable mechanical engineer to take a critical role in leading project delivery. Their major projects team is involved in aviation, defence, data-centres, and energy networks. Their expansive and modern campus in South London is newly built after being designed in-house, and has been created to meet the latest standards for an efficient and productive working environment. With a global network of office locations, working on high-profile, quality, and large-scale projects you will support work both in the UK and across the globe. In recent years they have developed a comprehensive digital strategy which will ensure they remain a market leader into the future.

Your new role
You will take a role focused on delivery of large scale buildings projects, mostly in the southeast of England, but also internationally. You will lead building services mechanical design output, supported by a team of engineers. You will be involved during all stages of projects from initial concepts through to monitoring of works on site. You will be regularly client facing.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience of leading large building services design projects, within a consultancy setting or similar. You will be Chartered and have a relevant qualification in engineering. You will have experience of representing a leading brand and managing client relationships. You will have a demonstrable track record of working in either aviation, defence, data-centres, or heat networks, although commercial and education experience would also be of interest.
