Are you an ambitious Senior Mechanical Engineer within the building services industry that's looking for their next exciting career move?
The client that we are currently working with have an established team and have made a name for themselves in the market. They have a talented and dynamic team and work on a variety of different projects ranging from residential to laboratory schemes. They're looking for an aspirational Senior Intermediate mechanical Engineer that would be keen to join their quickly growing team and rise up through the ranks. The lucky Mechanical Engineer will get to join their talented team in their Bedford office.
The successful candidate will have good skills when it comes to the design of mechanical systems within a variety of different building types. You will be conversant with a variety of software's if you're able to use IES to a good level and be competent in thermal modelling this will be considered highly advantageous. You will have ideally started to manage and lead some of your own smaller scale projects and will be comfortable liaising with clients and other professionals of varying disciplines to ensure all projects are completed on time and to the client's specification. You will be expected to carry out site surveys and design site specific equipment when needed.
Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements:
- Degree in building services or mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 5 years design experience in a design role within the building services industry
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
- Ability to see projects from inception to completion
- Good knowledge of a variety of design software
- Full UK driving License
- Experience with Revit & IES Modelling advantageous
