Blueprint Recruitment Solutions are representing a leading company in the UK Water Sector, who have an immediate opportunity for a Qualifying/Electrical Supervisor (Low Voltage) to join them on a permanent basis in London.

The primary role is to oversee the technical inspection standards for specialist low voltage electrical inspection and testing across various sites including hazardous areas.

The role comes with a competitive salary and a very generous defined contribution pension scheme (of up-to 18%) plus numerous benefits.

Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure technical compliance with company standards from contractors engaged in the delivery of fixed electrical testing, Inspection of equipment, lightning protection systems and remedial programmes.
  • Assisting in the preparation and delivery of remedial projects undertaken by framework contractors
  • Carry out site auditors of contractors delivering specialist LV Electrical Maintenance ensuring they are compliant with best practise and regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical scrutiny and challenge of inspection and remedial reports.
  • Provide cover for Low Voltage Contract Manager as and when required.

Essential requirements:

  • ECS approved Electrician with an Industrial Background.
  • Hold a full, UK driving licence
  • Ideally should have experience in the role of a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
  • Understanding of IEE Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
  • 18th Edition update.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations particularly in electrical safety.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Competent using MS Office.
