An award winning and established specialist M&E design consultancy based in the centre of Cardiff are looking for an ambitious and driven Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their growing office. You'll be joining their newly refurbished office in the centre of Cardiff, where they focus on projects in the education and healthcare sectors. They have a reputation of being a highly-innovative practice within the industry and after a period of continued success, they're now looking to grow their Cardiff office. You'll be joining an office of 10, with a combination of Mechanical, Electrical and BIM specialists.

Your new role

You'll be joining as a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer of a successful MEP design team based in the centre of Cardiff, where you'll be working on a variety of healthcare and education projects. You'll be providing input on design strategy and conceptual design for electrical systems. With this role you'll be joining a growing consultancy, and with that, comes the opportunity to grow with the business and work on projects that are typically valued at £15m - £20m. They invest heavily in their company training programme to support yourself in your CPD.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this opportunity, you'll need to be a driven and ambitious Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in a consultancy background. You will be a highly ambitious engineer and will need to be comfortable representing the business in client meetings. You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated track record of working in the education and healthcare sectors.
