Principal Electrical Engineer

Our client Is a well-known consultancy on the outskirts of Birmingham Their M&E team is around 40 strong at the moment and they have all adopted the working from home really well. Moving forward they have said they will probably operate working from home roughly around 80% of the time. They have recently won a lot of MOD work and need a principal electrical engineer to come and slot into the team, however its not essential that you have worked on MOD projects.

Our client work in a variety of different sectors and so it would be good if you had a broad experience when it comes to the sectors you have worked in, however if you have experience working on MOD or Healthcare projects this would be highly advantageous. They are really looking for someone that is going to fit in with the culture of the business. There are looking for someone that is able to get their hands dirty and do day to day to drawings as well as someone that's comfortable mentoring more junior engineers and helping them progressing with the business.

Principle Electrical Engineer Requirements:

  • Degree in electrical engineer or building services
  • CEng and ideally industry accredited qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years in the building services industry
  • Extremely technically capable in design of electrical systems
  • Experience in managing small teams
