Head of Maintenance
Lead the transformation and modernisation of a large Maintenance service of a leading University, working alongside a Senior Leadership team with an ambition to continue to build and create a culture of exceptional service delivery.
At the University of Warwick, our research is internationally leading, provocative and impactful. Our research transforms the ways in which we understand the world, creating lives that are healthier, safer, more resilient, more just and more fulfilled.
Warwick is a leading university, somewhere forward-looking and ambitious, where the starting point is always ‘anything is possible’. We consistently perform strongly in the UK league tables, and we’re proud to be among the top 20 ‘Most International’ universities in the world. We’re as respected for boundary-breaking research as for teaching and business collaborations – our pursuit of excellence and intellectual curiosity is tireless. We strive to lead rather than follow, and are renowned for our entrepreneurialism and cosmopolitan outlook.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Head of Maintenance will play a crucial and pivotal role in the creation and implementation of a planned, statutory and reactive maintenance delivery model. We are seeking a credible and experienced professional, who is comfortable operating at a senior level in a complex and demanding environment. An inspiring leader with a proven track record for implementing effective and positive change, you will promote customer service excellence and professionalism within your teams. In addition to a detailed technical understanding of all hard FM services and statutory requirements, we are also seeking an individual with a passion for customer service excellence.
As Head of Maintenance, you will assess future needs of the service, developing a professional team to complement the needs of the service and ensure resilience as we continue to invest in new buildings and invest in long term maintenance programmes.
