Working for a Maintenance and FM provider to the MOD. You will be based on a MOD base and so this role requires security clearance to BPSS level.


As a delivery manager you will be responsible from "cradle to grave" for all projects up to a value of £M+. This could be anything to do with the built environment from window and roof replacement to P&D, Hot water and heating repairs and even concreting roads. You will take the brief, design, tender, manage the work on site with external contractor, and hand over to client. This is a very process led system with up to 36 stages on the planned maintenance system , so 80-90% of this role is office and IT systems led, with the rest of the time out on site. The type of buildings typically include accommodation blocks, catering facilities, workshops, garages, hangers, roads.


What you'll need to succeed
A strong background in managing high volume low cost maintenance and refurbishment projects, ideally within a similar background ( NHS, Public Sector, MOD) If you have worked within the Armed forces and have transferable skills for this role. It is essential that you have strong IT skills and are used to working via complex FM/ maintenance programming of work systems. You need to have a relevant qualification in a building trade or HNC or Degree in surveying or construction. The route you have taken education wise is less important and can be flexible as it is the experience and skill set that is important.
You will need to be manage and take total ownership of a problem and tackle things head on straight away in a confident manner.


What you'll get in return
£200 per day inside IR 35. 3 Month contract initially, probably 6 months
You must be able and willing to pass a security check
