Energy Assessor - Orpington
Our client is an already established consultancy in Orpington working on a variety of projects within multiple sectors. They have recently won a good amount of work which has seen them need to employ an Energy Assessor to come in and assist with a new body of jobs. This role would suit someone that is keen to grow with a consultancy and rise through the ranks.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Undertaking energy assessments Analysis of construction specifications and drawings. Preparation of u-value calculations. Preparation of summary specifications. Measurement of drawings. Input of data into energy assessment software. Liaison with construction team professionals and clients to provide advice on meeting planning/construction legislation. Provide advice on reducing energy, CO2 emissions and construction costs. Attendance at meetings to contribute to the building design process.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
- Accredited On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor (OCDEA) Good understanding and knowledge of construction, sustainability and current Building Regulations. Excellent communication skills. Organised and structured, with a professional outlook and good interpersonal skills. Basic CAD skills preferable. Must be driven individual wishing to succeed. Must be a team player. Clean driving license and access to a vehicle.
