Sustainability Engineer

Sustainability Engineer - To £40K - Ready to step up into a Senior role?

Mentored by a PhD qualified, Chartered Sustainability Director you'll be fast tracked into a Senior role over the next 12 months. You'll advise clients, developers and investors on Buildings Life-Cycle Assessments, Embodied Carbon, Operational Carbon and help champion Low or Zero Carbon design.

You'll use your holistic understanding of buildings, master planning, building physics and environmental assessments methods (BREEAM, Well, SKA, Passivhaus etc) and work closely with the M&E Design Engineers to help design and deliver exemplary buildings.

You'll get to work on mixed-use, residential, commercial, leisure and regeneration projects across the UK and abroad and provide sustainable design solutions at the master planning, pre- planning and concept design stages.

You'll receive ongoing CPD so that you develop your understanding of related disciplines such as HVAC and BIM; and you'll be mentored by the Sustainability Director, a very supportive and friendly individual with over 15 years industry experience.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of environmental design and sustainability strategies.
• Previous experience in BREEAM, ideally a registered BREEAM Assessor.
• Experience in producing Daylight analysis and experience producing lighting reports for daylighting.
• Must have LCA (Life cycle Analysis / Life Cycle Assessment) experience in estimating the embodied carbon within
• Able to work as part of a team where quality, innovation, accountability and knowledge sharing are encouraged.
