Electrical Engineer (Intermediate/Senior)

An established building services design consultancy based in Belfast who specialise in Mechanical, Electrical and Environmental engineering are recruiting Graduate/Junior Electrical Engineers to join their team. A multi-disciplinary team with expertise across MEP, BIM & 3D modelling providing consulting services throughout the UK and Ireland.

Your new role
Duties of the role will include the management of engineering designs in accordance with the client's brief or project requirements. Monitoring resourcing requirements for projects, and communicating with senior management in this regard. Contributing to the day-to-day financial and commercial management and control of projects. Providing training and coaching to junior team members.

What you'll need to succeed

Intermediate Electrical Engineers should be degree qualified in building services or electrical engineering with 2-4 years experience of working in a building services consultancy designing electrical systems. Good knowledge of the building regulations and British Standards. Ambition to take on their own projects and work independently.

Senior Electrical Engineers should also be degree qualified with 5+ years experience, chartered or willing to work towards chartership. Excellent knowledge of the building regulations and British Standards. Proven track record of delivering high value, complex buildings in the UK and Ireland. Experience of leading a team and mentoring junior engineers. Experience of being the main point of contact on large projects, dealing with clients, architects, and structural engineers.
