Mechanical Supervisor (Building Services)

Mechanical Supervisor required for a busy M&E contractor for a temporary to permanent opportunity.

Your new company

You will be working for a large M&E contractor who are looking to recruit a new Mechanical Supervisor to join the team support them to deliver mechanical building services projects.

Your new role

You will be supervising a team of people that varies between 10-20 people depending on orders, and they will be a mix of semi skilled mechanical engineering and plumber / pipefitters who are working in an off site manufacturing facility to M&E create services pod for healthcare, residential, student accommodation type environments. You will be responsible for reading drawings, directing the labour ,receiving deliveries and ordering materials, ensuring quality standards are met, production timescales are met, and all day to day H&S.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful you will have experience as a commercial plumber / pipefitter and have worked in a supervisory capacity. The type of person the organisation is seeking is someone who can manage effectively. get the best out of the team, be agile and dynamic to changing situations, and have a positive can do attitude.
